Step by step recipe with photoThere are many Italian and French meringues, but I want to offer you a recipe for lemon meringue. It is crispy, airy, and has a slight sourness to it.
To make the lemon meringue we need lemon, eggs, sugar and salt.
First, separate the whites from the yolks and add to them a pinch of salt.
Then beat the whites with a mixer until they peaked, gradually adding sugar.
Grate the zest on a fine grater and add to the whites.
We mix everything gently.
Then, with a spoon or a pastry bag, place the whites on the baking tray.
Put the meringues to dry in the oven for 60-90 minutes at 100 degrees.
