Step by step recipe with photoIn this recipe for pocket buns, I want to show not so much the dough, but rather the idea of shaping the buns. It is very convenient to make such a bun as a snack sandwich. By inserting slices of ham or cheese, as well as fresh vegetables into the “pocket”, you get a great sandwich that is easy to eat. In addition, it looks original.
The buns themselves are soft and very tasty. It is convenient to take such a snack to the nature, to work or to school.
Add the yeast, sugar and two tablespoons of flour to the warm milk and water. Stir, cover with a napkin and let the stew rise in a warm place.
Add melted butter and salt.
Pour out the flour.
Knead a soft dough that is not sticky on your hands. You may need a little more flour.
Cover with a napkin and keep warm to rise.
Divide the dough into 6 parts, roll into balls. Cover and let “rest” for 5-10 minutes.
Roll the ball into a cake. Grease with vegetable oil.
Roll in half without going all the way to the edge and butter again.
Roll in half again.
Do this with all the balls.
Transfer to a baking tray and bake at 180-200 degrees until brown.
Stuff the “pocket” to taste. Bon appetit.
